The American Board of Cosmetic and Esthetic Dentistry's Diplomate process represents the acknowledgment of a dentist's dedication to continuing education and a resolve to produce exceptional dentistry.

The American Board of Cosmetic and Esthetic Dentistry (ABCED) is sponsored by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) to create a Diplomate certification process with the sole purpose of awarding Diplomate status. The ABCED is incorporated as a certifying board and is preparing itself for the changing landscape in cosmetic dentistry.
